Currently Chair, Cara moved to the Langport area in 2005 and was a Langport Town Councillor for 11 years. An environmentalist with 20 years experience working in sustainable development and environmental community leadership, she founded Transition Langport in 2007, is currently the Environment Officer for SSDC delivering the council's Climate & Ecological Emergency Environment strategy and now lives on a small holding outside of Langport.
