The Parrett Room, Langport Town Hall

Located in the centre of the town, the Grade 2 listed Town Hall was built in 1733. The Town Clerk’s office is here, and it’s where the Town Council normally meets. At various times the building has housed the town’s horse-drawn fire engine, the cells and the county court. It was also used as a market area. The building is now home to Langport Town Council, Somerset Art works (SAW) and RSPB In the Undercroft of the Town Hall there is now a permanent market.
The Town Hall Parrett Room is available for bookings
The Town Hall Chamber, now known as the Parrett Room, is suitable for larger gatherings, fitness classes and parties and has a small bar/kitchen area. Please note that there is now disabled access to the first floor via a stairlift.

The Town Hall is well served by toilets with wash facilities on the first floor and a single toilet and disabled toilet both with wash facilities on the ground floor.
